Before you go
- Visa is mandatory for Indian ordinary passport holders — apply through an authorized visa agent via Singapore's e-Visa portal at least 1–2 weeks before departure (processing 3–5 working days, fee SGD 30 / ~INR 2,100 non-refundable); claims of a bilateral visa-free arrangement from August 2024 do not appear in any official source, so always confirm at ica.gov.sg before issuing a confirmation.
- S.E.A. Aquarium closed permanently on 30 April 2025 and reopened in July 2025 as Singapore Oceanarium (3× larger, 22 zones, SGD 50–55 pp non-resident depending on peak/off-peak); update every itinerary and quote still referencing S.E.A. Aquarium by name or the old SGD 45 price point.
- Attraction costs must be itemised upfront: Universal Studios SGD 83 pp (off-peak) / SGD 86 pp (peak), Night Safari SGD 58 pp non-resident, Singapore Oceanarium SGD 50–55 pp non-resident — pre-book online to lock these rates.

Getting there, permits & day trips
By air — Direct flights from Delhi (5.5–6h), Mumbai (5.5h), Chennai (3.5–4h), Bengaluru (4.5h), Hyderabad (5h), Kolkata (3.5–4h) on IndiGo, Air India, Singapore Airlines, Scoot, and Vistara; land at Changi Airport (T1–T4; Jewel connects them all)
By rail — No rail link from India; within Singapore, MRT metro covers all tourist hubs — EZ-Link card costs SGD 10 deposit, rides SGD 1–3; Sentosa Express from VivoCity SGD 4
By road — Not viable from India; in Singapore, Grab (ride-hailing) fares SGD 8–25 for most city trips; taxis available; Sentosa causeway bus free for pedestrians

Permits & entry — Indian ordinary passport holders require a Singapore entry visa; there is no visa-free arrangement in place as of 2026. Applications are submitted electronically through an authorized visa agent — the consulate does not accept walk-ins. The non-refundable fee is SGD 30 (~INR 2,100); processing takes 3–5 working days excluding weekends and public holidays, so apply at least 1–2 weeks before departure. Required documents are Form 14A, a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from the date of entry, a recent passport photo, and supporting documents (onward/return ticket, proof of accommodation, proof of funds). Diplomatic, official, and service passport holders are exempt. Indian nationals transiting to a third country may use the 96-hour Visa-Free Transit Facility (VFTF) if they hold a valid visa from Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan, New Zealand, Switzerland, the UK, or the USA. Verify current requirements at ica.gov.sg before confirming any booking.
